So the chronograph does not work on these? I would be upset if I ordered this and the chronograph did not work especially at $149.

It has chronograph function, because it is in quartz movement.

Splendid quality. These watches are perfect in every aspect. Manufactured with care about every details, anybody can't really tell if this is real or replica. Only thing which one can recognize is not working chronograph. But on your wrist it looks like original.

does all the 3 sub dials work or is one of them just for decoration?

No, the chronographs on this model are not functional. The chronographs only work on our Swiss model watches, this is a Japanese model and as such the chronographs are for show only.
